("BTS BTS - Bug Tracking System ") are pleased to announce the formal signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with H. Landman Technologies Agent B.V. ("Landman") of the Netherlands for Dema products. BTI (www.bti.ca) acquired the Dema Group (www.dema.se and www.demacell.com) of Oskarshamn, Sweden in May 2001 and renamed it BTS. BTI announced a Letter of Intent with Landman in mid March. The Landman Group (www.oplaadbaar.com) is a privately held, leading sales and distribution company based in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands. It currently distributes a variety of consumer products including batteries, chargers, transformers, and switches for the electronics industry. This distribution agreement is mutually exclusive Adj. 1. mutually exclusive - unable to be both true at the same time contradictory incompatible - not compatible; "incompatible personalities"; "incompatible colors" such that Landman becomes the exclusive distributor of BTS products for the Netherlands and in return will market solely BTS battery products; eliminating competing lines, in favor of Demacell RAM(TM) and Toshiba. In addition to distribution, Landman produces battery packs utilizing multiple battery configurations for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and customers. The battery market in the Netherlands is approximately 50% greater than that of Sweden, consequently BTI has significantly increased its business opportunity base with this agreement. Expansion of BTS to additional northern European markets is contemplated in the near term and is the subject of current significant activity. Mr. J.
