BOSTON -- One Lucky Fan Will Go from Bleachers to Baseball Field, Becoming an "Announcer for an Inning"

Calling all baseball enthusiasts and aspiring broadcasters- The Mighty 1090 AM San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay.  and Samuel Adams(R) want you! Samuel Adams and The Mighty 1090 AM are teaming up to find the first San Diego "Announcer for an Inning." This lucky individual will earn the right to report all action live in San Diego this September when the "Harbor of the Sun" takes on Hollywood.

"Let's face it: When two great teams from the same state go up against each other, you are almost guaranteed a heated rivalry. The contest will run from now through September 3 in select San Diego locations. During the next few months, consumers are encouraged to "audition" by calling a preselected segment of a past baseball game at audition booths. At the end of the contest, The Mighty 1090 AM and Samuel Adams will narrow down the entries to five finalists who will compete at a finale event and be judged by a celebrity panel. The winner will be crowned "Announcer for an Inning," and will then have the chance to do a full inning of color not of the white race; - commonly meaning, esp. in the United States, of negro blood, pure or mixed.
