Bathtub advice. (Respond).


R VL (Oct 2001) has a 4-year-old son who has severe multiple disabilities due to complications from cystic fibrosis cystic fibrosis (sĭs`tĭk fībrō`sĭs), inherited disorder of the exocrine glands (see gland), affecting children and young people; median survival is 25 years in females and 30 years in males. . VL's child has grown too large for an infant bathtub, and his equipment is too large for the bathroom. VL wants to hear from any parents who have dealt with a similar situation and who may have creative solutions.

As foster parents we have cared for a number of children that were difficult to bathe in a regular bath tub. Our solution was to use a deep laundry Laundry can be:
