Immediately following the ceremony, guests traveled to the Island Room of the Beach Club for a reception hosted by the bride's parents. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner buffet and danced to the music of Park Avenue. Holly Bateman Crane serenaded her sister and new brother-in-law with a beautiful arrangement of "The Broken Road," which was the couple's first dance. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner A rehearsal dinner is a pre-wedding ceremony in Western tradition, usually held after the wedding rehearsal and the night before the wedding ceremony. The guests include the couple to be married and others who form the wedding party and may also include extended family and Friday night at The Club Room of the Beach Club. Other weekend events included a spa-brunch given by Martin Elementary Teachers from Brookhaven. After a trip to Antigua, the couple is at home in Starkville. |
