The announcement came during a meeting with Crown Prince's Court president Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Batelco group general manager and media and government relations Ahmed Janahi and Fajer.

Mr Janahi stressed Batelco's continued support for educational initiatives aimed at Bahrain's outstanding youth.

He said the company was delighted to sponsor such an exceptionally bright student.

Shaikh Khalifa thanked Batelco for supporting Fajer and for its role in backing initiatives in support of education.

He also congratulated Fajer on her outstanding academic achievements and wished her a successful future.
