) lines.

Batelco's DDI service allows callers to reach internal extensions within an organisation without going through the company's operator, said officials.

However, the ISDN service provides exactly the same facility with a seamless migration of the DDI numbers and extensions, they added.

The small percentage of Batelco customers, who are still using the DDI services, have been recommended to switch to the ISDN service, which is supported by Batelco's state-of-the-art Next Generation Network (NGN).

'We are proud of our continuous advancement in delivering world-class technologies to help our business customers to stay connected with their customers,' said Batelco group media and government relations general manager Ahmed Al Janahi.- TradeArabia News Service
