AN explorer has broken two more world records by spending more than 14 hours in a tiny hot-air balloon.

David Hempleman-Adams David Hempleman-Adams, LVO, OBE, (born 1956 in Swindon, Wiltshire) is an English adventurer.

He is the first man in history to reach the Geographic and Magnetic North and South Poles as well as climb the highest peaks in all seven continents, a feat he christened the

David, of Box, in Wiltshire, flew from Missouri to Oklahoma to bring his aviation records total to 46. He said the flight had "beautiful scenery, some scary times and was a real test of skill".
