Basics and Theory in Emulsion Technology is Feb. 10.


* The SCC will hold "Practical Basics and Theory in Emulsion Technology," Feb. 10 at the Sheraton Newark Airport hotel in Newark, NJ. The course will provide an introduction to emulsions including definitions and physical chemistry as well as designing emulsions, ingredients and suppliers, emulsion concepts (such as behavior, location and phases, viscosity and rheology), evaluations of emulsions and processing of emulsions.

The instructor is John Carson, a consultant with more than 35 years of experience in personal care product formulation having worked with Colgate, J&J, Avon, L'Oreal and Croda.
