Baseline Joins Advent Software's Alliance Program.

Advent Software (NASDAQ: ADVS), the leading provider of Enterprise Investment Management (EIM) technology, announced that Baseline has joined the Advent Alliance Program. Baseline, a subsidiary of Primark Corp., is a leading provider of equity information and analysis products to the investment community, with primary emphasis on the institutional equity market.

Baseline's core product, BASELINE, is an interactive application that delivers long histories of company fundamental statistics, price action, ratios, earnings estimates, technical analysis and financial statements for more than 8,000 stocks. The information is presented in a visually revealing, graphical framework that delivers instant insight into the strengths and weaknesses of stocks and portfolios. Designed specifically for institutional money managers, BASELINE is a powerful tool for examining stocks, industries or sectors, individually or at the portfolio level.

As part of the Advent Alliance Program, the BASELINE application will be integrated with Advent Office(TM), the market-leading EIM solution used by more than 5,600 institutions. The integration will use XML technology to provide a deeper and more seamless integration, increasing the flexibility of the integration over time. The integration enables portfolio holdings, stored within Advent Office, to quickly be connected to the fundamentals, estimates and ratio analytics necessary for active portfolio management.

Launched in May of 1999, the Advent Alliance Program was formed to deliver a wide range of products and services to Advent clients through strategic partnerships with the industry's leading providers of software and services. Advent's Alliance partners provide services that enhance the Advent Office suite and complement Advent's EIM vision.
