Baseball: Tigers on the slide.

TODD Walker spoiled the final home opener at Detroit's famed Tiger Stadium with a home run in the 12th inning, giving the Minnesota Twins a 1-0 victory.

A crowd of 47,449 saw the Tigers lose for the sixth straight game.

Detroit finished 49-39 in home openers at Tiger Stadium. Next year, they move to the new Comerica Park.
