Base Ten gains two more health care clients; Pharmasyst backlog grows again.


TRENTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 1996--Base Ten Systems Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS: BASEA BASEA Boston Area Solar Energy Association ) announced today that its PHARMASYST(TM) Manufacturing Execution System

Manufacturing execution system (MES) describes a set of integrated functions within a packaged software system or it can also describe the accumulated functionality within the production management infrastructure of a manufacturing or production company.
 had been selected by two more of the world's major pharmaceutical companies.

The companies, one in the U.S. and the other in Puerto Rico Puerto Rico (pwār`tō rē`kō), island (2005 est. pop. 3,917,000), 3,508 sq mi (9,086 sq km), West Indies, c.1,000 mi (1,610 km) SE of Miami, Fla. , have chosen PHARMASYST(TM) to aid in the manufacture and control of their products. The American Company is a well known Bio-Tech division of a U.S. Pharmaceutical Corporation. This contract is the first penetration into the Bio-technology portion of the pharmaceutical industry by Base Ten.
