Base Ten and Intellution become marketing partners; Base Ten joins Intellution's Cooperative Automation Partner Program to market PHARMASYST/SCADA Systems.


TRENTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 17, 1996--Base Ten Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NMS-BASEA BASEA - Boston Area Solar Energy Association) announced today that it had been accepted as a member of Intellution(R)'s Cooperative Automation Partner Program.

Intellution, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emerson Electric (EMR), is the leading supplier of industrial automation software. Intellution(R)'s SCADA SCADA - Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (application) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition - (SCADA) Systems are used in industry to monitor and control plant status and provide logging facilities. SCADA systems are highly configurable, and usually interface to the plant via PLCs.

 (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) technology will allow PHARMASYST(TM) to integrate with automated equipment throughout the factory. The integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems is of exceptional advantage to manufacturers and is in great demand for its efficiency and cost containment features.
