Barry Schuler, Former CEO of AOL, Joins the Board of Directors of MFORMA Group, Inc.


BELLEVUE, Wash. -- MFORMA Group Inc., a world leading publisher and distributor of mobile entertainment, announced today that Barry Schuler Barry Martin Schuler (born September 7, 1953 in Jersey City, New Jersey) is American Internet pioneer, perhaps best known for making the Internet easy to use consumers while working for America Online for seven years, and being the CEO for three years.  has joined its board of directors. Prior to his tenure at AOL, Schuler was CEO and founder of Medior, Inc., a multimedia design firm that was acquired by AOL in 1995. Medior pioneered the use of interactive multimedia for applications such as entertainment and e-commerce. Medior was responsible for developing the user interface design that helped AOL become the number one consumer online service.

Earlier, Schuler served as president and CEO of Cricket Software, an early developer of Macintosh graphics software, where he oversaw breakthroughs in the development of software for business presentations and color graphics The ability to display graphic images in colors. .
