Schochet, a veteran hospital industry executive, will leave the company at the end of the year, having served Tenet in a variety of senior positions for more than 25 years. Schochet will transition his current responsibilities by Dec. 31 and then pursue new opportunities in health care investments. "Barry Schochet's strategic counsel and vision have been invaluable to Tenet for many years, but never more so than during the past 18 months as we have navigated through some very difficult waters," said Trevor Fetter, Tenet's president and chief executive officer.
