Barry Sanders Signs on as Spokesperson for the ImagiNation Network; All Pro super star Detroit running back takes to digital turf to support national rollout of first online football game.


BURLINGAME, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 18, 1995--Football super star Barry Sanders Barry Sanders (born July 16, 1968) is a Hall of Fame and Heisman Trophy winning American football running back who spent his entire professional career with the Detroit Lions of the NFL.  has signed on as national spokesperson for AT&T's ImagiNation Network (INN).

The multi-year partnership is the first that the all pro Detroit running back has established with an online computer company. Sanders will make his official debut into cyberspace entertainment when he "turfs the net" with the winner of INN's Front Page Sports: Football Online competition to be held this winter.

The ImagiNation Network is the first online computer network dedicated completely to games and entertainment. The five-year-old company is rolling out its latest version of the popular network software with the introduction of Front Page Sports: Football Online, the first interactive multi-player football game available in an online environment.
