The album was co-produced by Barry Manilow and Grammy award-winning producer, Phil Ramone Phil Ramone is a violinist, composer, recording engineer, and innovative record producer born in 1934. As a young child in South Africa, Ramone was a musical prodigy, beginning to play the violin at age three and performing for Queen Elizabeth II at age ten. . Manilow and Ramone also collaborated on Barry's 1994 release of "Singin' With The Big Bands." "To me, this is an opportunity to produce an album of the great American songs that meant so much to him and to pay a sincere tribute to the man who introduced most of them to us," said Manilow. "Sinatra respected songwriters and arrangers so much that he would always credit them before singing each of his songs. "He was always true to his high standards. As the trends came and went, he continued to only be associated with the songs that matched those standards," Manilow added.
