Barry Levoir Named Vice President, Engineering, At Menasco Aerospace Oakville.CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1998--Barry L. Levoir has been named vice president, engineering, of the Menasco Aerospace Oakville unit of Coltec Industries Inc (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :COT). Mr. Levoir, 47, reports to Roger Wright, president of the unit. Mr. Wright said, "Barry Levoir brings extensive engineering management experience and technical engineering capabilities to our landing gear business." Mr. Levoir had been director of structures at Messier-Dowty Aerospace Inc. since 1992. He was chief of stress at Messier-Dowty from 1987 to 1992. From 1981 to 1987, he held increasingly responsible positions at Messier-Dowty, including assistant chief of stress and weights and senior stress analyst. Earlier in his career, he was a principal stress engineer at Sperry Gyroscope gyroscope (jī`rəskōp'), symmetrical mass, usually a wheel, mounted so that it can spin about an axis in any direction.
