Barry Leeds and Associates, of New York, a provider of mystery shops for financial institutions, has been acquired by Informa Research Services Inc., of Calabasas, Calif. Paul Lubin, president of Barry Deeds, will remain as the managing director of Barry Leeds and a senior vice president of Informa Research. Informa Research provides market research and decision-support information to the financial services industry. In addition to mystery shops, Barry Leeds and Associates also provides fair lending testing and research, customer satisfaction, sales practices monitoring and investment product compliance.
