3M Company announced today that Barry Labinger has been named division vice president, 3M Pharmaceuticals Division, effective Aug. 1, replacing Thomas Harrison

Labinger most recently was senior vice president and general manager, Commercial Operations, Immunex Corp., a pharmaceutical company based in Seattle, Wash. Prior to his work at Immunex, Labinger held leadership positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb Bristol-Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY), colloquially referred to as BMS, is a pharmaceutical corporation, formed by a 1989 merger between pharmaceutical companies Bristol-Myers Company, founded in 1887 by William McLaren Bristol and John Ripley Myers in Clinton, NY (both were , Abbott Laboratories and Baxter Healthcare Corp. Labinger earned a masters of management degree from the Kellogg School of Management
