Established in 1971 by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), NASDAQ is an automated quotation system that reports on : BARR BARR Board on Agriculture and Renewable Resources (Washington, DC, USA) BARR Bureau of Aeronautics Resident Representative , BARRW) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Barringer Consumer Products LLC, has entered into a contract for European distribution of the Barringer DRUGALERT System with Drug Alert Ltd. ("DAL"), located in London, England. DAL is founded jointly by Unilabs Holdings S.A., a publicly traded NASDAQ company, and S.I.P. Services International Ltd., ("SIP") a leading European security firm. The Unilabs group is the largest provider of medical laboratory services in Europe. DAL will market DRUGALERT in the United Kingdom, Spain and Switzerland and has the option to expand to certain other European and Asian countries. Barringer will lease an IONSCAN testing station to DAL who will perform the analytical testing through arrangement with Unilabs Holdings S.A. in the U.K.. In addition, Barringer will provide all the sample collectors for inclusion in the DRUGALERT System to be sold by DAL. DAL will provide analytical services for product sales made in Italy and France through distributors already in place in those countries. DRUGALERT, first introduced in March 1995, is an in-home drug detection kit that was the subject of widespread publicity in major newspapers, cable and television networks around the world.
