Geophysical surveys may use a great variety of sensing instruments, and data may be collected from above or below the Earth's surface or from aerial or marine platforms. and ongoing groundwork. More specifically, it is the study of the absolute and relative abundances of chemical elements in the minerals, soils, ores, rocks, water, and atmosphere of the earth and the distribution and movement of and drill testing. The 1,425 square km Wandoo Project is located in Queensland, Australia and currently comprises 12 gold-mineralised breccia pipes and three base metal targets. Compelling similarities in nature and setting between Barramundi's breccia pipes and the Kidston and Mt. Leyshon Mines (multi-million ounce producing gold mines in the region) are described in the Company's initial prospectus. 11,000 LINE KILOMETRE GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY Barramundi has recently completed a detailed airborne magnetic and radiometric geophysical survey over approximately 800 square km of the Wandoo Project area. Preliminary interpretation of the survey confirms the presence and further defines the size and position of the breccia pipes, particularly the 2500 metre-wide Mt. Wandoo Prospect. The data also indicate several striking pipe-like magnetic anomalies Magnetic Anomaly may refer to:
Detailed interpretation of the geophysical data is underway, and in addition to delineating new targets will provide the basis for refining refining, any of various processes for separating impurities from crude or semifinished materials. It includes the finer processes of metallurgy, the fractional distillation of petroleum into its commercial products, and the purifying of cane, beet, and maple sugar Barramundi's understanding of the regional geology. SOIL GEOCHEMISTRY Barramundi has completed a 4 square km surveyed grid over the Empire- Pinnacles-Pinnacles West prospects. A total of 1,176 soil samples from the grid were collected at 50 metre intervals for geochemical analysis, and the area was geologically mapped in detail. This work has clearly outlined the surface limits of the Empire Prospect (which measures approximately 500 metres in diameter) and the Pinnacles breccia system, illustrated by a broad arcuate arcuate /ar·cu·ate/ (ahr´ku-at) arc-shaped; arranged in arches. ar·cu·ate adj. REVERSE CIRCULATION ("RC") AND DIAMOND DRILLING Diamond Drilling is a highly specialized industry used for mineral exploration around the world. Most commonly using wireline and core bits with diamond encrusted matrix. To drill holes to max depths of twelve thousand feet, for the recovery of core used in verifying mineral Barramundi has drilled an additional 30 angled RC drill holes totalling 897 metres (with an average depth of 30 metres) and 6 diamond drill holes totalling 1,502 metres at the Empire and Pinnacles/Pinnacles West Prospects, bringing the total amount of drilling at these prospects to 56 RC and 6 diamond drill holes. The Empire and Pinnacles pipes appear, from the results of soil geochemistry surveying, to be enriched with gold in a zone marking the margin of each pipe; a characteristic that is consistent with pipes at the Kidston and Mt. Leyshon gold mines. These anomalous zones were drill-tested with several "fences" of 5-10 RC holes, as depicted de·pict tr.v. de·pict·ed, de·pict·ing, de·picts 1. Average ore grades Ore grade is a measure that describes the concentration of a valuable natural material (such as metals or minerals) in its surrounding ore. Ore grade is used to assess the economic feasibility of a mining operation: the cost of extracting a natural material from its ore is directly at Kidston and Mt. Leyshon mines range from approximately 0.5 to 1.5 g/t gold. Previous drilling results from the Empire area were summarised in a news release dated November 1, 1996. -0-

-0- The Company has also recently re-logged a total of 947 metres of diamond drill core from the Mt. Wandoo prospect, originally obtained in 1980 by Houston Oil and Minerals Australia Inc. All 8 holes reviewed were found to include hydrothermally altered breccia pipe material, consistent with current models for this large prospect. RECONNAISSANCE You can assist by [ editing it] now. Selective rock chip sampling of locally gossanous outcrop at the Bushtucker Prospect yielded gold values ranging from 0.2 to 8.0 g/t as well as strongly anomalous lead (ranging from 1 percent to 16.5 percent), zinc (ranging from 0.04 percent to 0.7 percent) and silver (ranging from 16 to 547 g/t). The Bushtucker Prospect has relatively poor outcrop exposure and at this early stage is not well defined; however, the Company's preliminary investigation indicates that it may cover an area of some 5-6 square km. Barramundi is planning to immediately initiate a preliminary mapping and sampling program over this new area of polymetallic enrichment enrichment Food industry The addition of vitamins or minerals to a food–eg, wheat, which may have been lost during processing.
