--Blocking spyware downloads (including drive-by downloads)

While spyware and other malware is inherently a devious operation, it is the stealthier self-installing, or "drive-by," spyware downloads that can pose a considerable threat to users. The Barracuda Spyware Firewall utilizes signature-based and rule-based blocking techniques to ensure that all spyware installations, such as .CAB, .OCX, .EXE and .DLL, files are prevented.
