Barona Creek Golf Club Surpasses Industry Legends; Course Named #4 in California by Golfweek Magazine.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2004

Barona Creek Golf Club has once again proved to be a legend in the making. The highly regarded course jumped up one spot in two categories in the latest rankings released by Golfweek Magazine. Barona Creek Golf Club is now rated the 4th best golf course in California -- edging out Torrey Pines Torrey Pines can refer to:
  • Torrey Pine, a broad, open-crowned pine.
  • Torrey Pines Golf Course, a municipal public golf course owned by the city of San Diego, California.
  • Torrey Pines High School, a high school in the North County Coastal area of San Diego, California.
 for a place in the state's top five, close behind the distinguished Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and Pasatiempo -- and the 82nd best modern course in the country.
