Baron & Budd Announces $18 Million Asbestos Verdict Against Insulation Manufacturer in El Paso.

The Dallas law firm of Baron & Budd, P.C., has announced an $18 million jury verdict handed down late yesterday on behalf of a local laborer who was exposed to asbestos during a 40-year career at Phelps Dodge Phelps Dodge Corporation is a former United States company founded in 1834 by Anson Greene Phelps and William E. Mr. Calderon was first exposed to asbestos more than 45 years ago, but it took until last year before he knew he had this terrible disease."

Jurors returned their verdict after nearly five hours of deliberations in the trial that began Feb. 12.
