, Inc. announced the appointment of Michael Celestino, Judy Collinson, and Tom Kalenderian to occupy an Interim Office of the President. This action was taken as Allen Questrom steps down as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Questrom will continue as Chairman of the Board and a member of the Executive Committee.

Mr. Celestino, Ms. Collinson, and Mr. Kalenderian are veteran Barneys executives. In addition to handling their normal responsibilities, the three will be responsible for all day-to-day matters. They will report to the Company's Board of Directors.

Allen Questrom stated, "Barneys is truly fortunate to have three highly-regarded senior executives guiding the Company during this transitional period. I am confident that they, together with Barneys' four other Executive Vice Presidents, will continue to make Barneys a strong and profitable company."

Michael Celestino, Executive Vice President of Store Operations, has been with the Company since 1991.
