: B) today announced that Richard P. McCorry will be appointed President of its Associated Spring business unit effective May 1, 2003; Associated Spring had 2002 sales of $322 million. Mr. McCorry succeeds Leonard M. Carlucci, who retired as President of Associated Spring on April 1, 2003.

Prior to joining Barnes Group Inc., Mr. McCorry was with Textron, Inc., a multi-industry company, where he held several executive positions including: President, Textron Power Transmission, which provides mechanical power transmission components and systems for the industrial, defense, mining and mobile equipment and transportation markets; Executive Vice President, Global Operations Global Operations is a first-person shooter computer game developed by Barking Dog Studios and published by both Crave Entertainment and Electronic Arts. It was released in March of 2002, following its public multiplayer beta version which contained only the Quebec map. , Textron Industrial Products, Textron's industrial segment; and Managing Director, Textron Breed Automotive, S.r.l.

From 1985 to 1997, Mr. McCorry was with Lear Corporation, a Fortune 500 supplier of interior products to the automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  market, and Masland Industries, where he held various management positions of increasing responsibility.
