Barnes & Noble.com (Nasdaq: BNBN) (www.bn.com) said today that it has been named Forbes.com's favorite online bookstore for the second consecutive year.

The company's designation as a "Forbes Favorite" was published in the magazine's Spring 2000 Special Internet Issue (February 28), "Best of the Web" that rated 260 sites.

The Forbes Favorite award is in recognition of Barnes & Noble.com's browse-ability and rich editorial content, as well as its extensive use of interviews, recommendations and out-of-print service.
