Barnes & Noble.com Chairman Names Marie J. Toulantis Chief Executive Officer.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 2002

Leonard Riggio, chairman of Barnes & Noble.com (Nasdaq: BNBN) (www.bn.com), announced today the appointment of Marie J. Toulantis to the position of chief executive officer, effective immediately. Ms. Toulantis had been president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
