Barnes & Noble to Open New Store at 3807 South Gilbert Road Gilbert, Arizona; New Bookstore Debuts on April 20.

NEW YORK -- Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the world's largest bookseller, will open a new 25,000-square-foot bookstore on April 20 in the Crossroads Towne Center at 3807 South Gilbert Road, Gilbert, Arizona. The store will stock close to 200,000 book, music, DVD and magazine titles and include a cafe serving Starbucks coffee. The new Gilbert Barnes & Noble will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day and employ approximately 60 people from the community.

The public is invited to a Preview Night Party at the new Gilbert Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, April 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. A portion of the Preview Night sales will benefit the Gilbert Elementary School. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Costume character, Clifford the Big Red Dog, will be on hand to greet his fans.
