Barnes & Noble to Open New Store at 3561 North Freeway Boulevard Sacramento, California; New Bookstore Debuts on April 26.

NEW YORK -- Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the world's largest bookseller, will open a new bookstore on April 26 in The Promenade at Sacramento Gateway at 3561 North Freeway Boulevard, Sacramento, California. The store will stock close to 200,000 book, music, DVD and magazine titles and include a cafe serving Starbucks coffee. The new Natomas Barnes & Noble will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day and employ approximately 50 people from the community.

The public is invited to a Preview Night Party at the new Natomas Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, April 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. A portion of the Preview Night sales will benefit the KVIE-TV Ready To Learn program. The Natomas Charter School Performing & Fine Arts Academy Athenaeum Singers and Cover Band will perform throughout the evening. Clifford the Big Red Dog will be on hand to meet his fans.
