Barnes & Noble to Open New Store at 2300 East 17th Street Idaho Falls, Idaho; New Bookstore Debuts on October 26.

NEW YORK -- Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the world's largest bookseller, will open a new bookstore on October 26 in the Grand Teton Mall at 2300 East 17th Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Concurrently, the existing store at 2385 East 17th Street in Idaho Falls will close. The new store will stock close to 200,000 book, music, DVD and magazine titles and include a cafe serving Starbucks coffee. The new Grand Teton Mall Barnes & Noble will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday and employ approximately 80 people from the community.

The public is invited to a Preview Night Party at the new Grand Teton Mall Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, October 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. A portion of the Preview Night sales will benefit Head Start of Eastern Idaho. The Bonneville High School orchestra will provide entertainment throughout the evening. For the children, a story time will be held with Steve Cannon, KIDK-TV community affairs director and former meteorologist. Costume character, Clifford the Big Red Dog, also will be on hand.
