Barnes & Noble to Open Kansas City Store Today.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 22, 1997--Barnes & Noble, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its new store at 8121 North West Roanridge Road in Kansas City, Missouri Kansas City is the largest city in the state of Missouri. It encompasses parts of Jackson, Clay, Cass, and Platte counties and is the anchor city of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, the second largest in Missouri, which includes counties in both Missouri and Kansas. . The store, located in the Barry Woods Barry Wood (born December 26, 1942 - ) is a former cricketer who played 12 Tests for England as an opening batsman as well as 13 one-day internationals.

Wood was born in Ossett in Yorkshire and made his first-class debut in 1964.
