NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 24, 1999--

Barnes & Noble and the Houston READ Commission welcome former President George Bush for a reading from his book, All the Best, George Best, George, 1946–2005, Northern Irish soccer play, b. Belfast. Regarded as the greatest player ever in British soccer, he was signed by Manchester United in 1961.  Bush: My Life in Letters and Other Writings at the J.W. Marriott Hotel at 5010 Westheimer on Tuesday, November 30th at 7:30 a.m. Tickets are $50.00 per person. Please call 712-942-1210 by November 29 to purchase tickets. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Barnes & Noble will have pre-signed copies of All the Best, George Bush: My Life in Letters and Other Writings available for sale. A portion of book sales from the benefit will be donated to the Houston READ Commission.
