), the world's largest bookseller, and Court TV announced that they have formed a partnership to promote the network's new primetime series, America's Crime Writers: Murder They Wrote. The new series premieres on Court TV in the fourth quarter of 2006, featuring bestselling authors James Ellroy James Ellroy (born Lee Earle Ellroy on March 4, 1948 in Los Angeles, California) is an American writer.

. Murder They Wrote will bring to life some of the most compelling true crime stories by the authors that know them best.

Court TV will implement programming, online, on-air graphics and off-channel marketing elements to promote Barnes & Noble in association with the series. The network will air promotional spots and create custom on-air graphics, which will direct viewers to Barnes & Noble and Barnes & Noble.com (www.bn.com) to learn more about the authors and their books, and to purchase them.

Court TV will have a presence in over 575 Barnes & Noble stores nationwide. Barnes & Noble will promote the series and authors' books in its stores with custom end caps. Barnes & Noble.com will feature Murder They Wrote on its home page, in subscriber newsletters and e-mails to specific genre buyers, and put package inserts about the series in outgoing packages.
