), the world's largest bookseller, announced it has signed a lease agreement to open a new Barnes & Noble bookstore in McLean, Virginia McLean is an unincorporated community located in Fairfax County in Northern Virginia. A small geographic area along Chain Bridge Road in Arlington County has a 22101 zip code and is also part of McLean. . The 33,000-square-foot store, expected to open in August 2005 will be located in Tyson's Corner Center. The store will stock close to 200,000 book, music, DVD DVD: see digital versatile disc.

--Advanced technology music-listening system. The store's music department will feature RedDotNet, the most advanced listening technology. RedDotNet enables customers to listen to any CD in the store, sampling up to 200,000 music titles by simply passing it under a scanner. Connected to the company's online electronic music catalog catalog, descriptive list, on cards or in a book, of the contents of a library.
