), the world's largest bookseller, announced it has signed a lease agreement to open a new Barnes & Noble bookstore in Maplewood, Minnesota Maplewood, incorporated in 1957, is a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 34,947 at the 2000 census. Maplewood is conveniently located just ten minutes from downtown St. Paul. Maplewood stretches along most of the northern and eastern borders of St. , which is in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The 40,000-square-foot store, expected to open in November 2004, will be located in the Maplewood Mall Maplewood Mall is a super-regional shopping mall located in Maplewood, Minnesota.
