), the world's largest bookseller, announced it has signed a lease agreement to open a new Barnes & Noble bookstore in Hamilton, New Jersey, which is in the Trenton area. The 24,000-square-foot store, expected to open in October 2004, will be located in the Hamilton Marketplace at Route 130 and Hamilton Square Hamilton Square in Birkenhead, Wirral, England is a town square first started in 1826 and designed by James Gillespie Graham.

The land on which the square was developed was purchased in 1824 by Scottish shipbuilder William Laird (1780-1841).
