), the world's largest bookseller, announced it has signed a lease agreement to open a new Barnes & Noble bookstore in Goodyear, Arizona Goodyear is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. The population was 18,911, at the 2000 census, compared to 3,137 people in 1980. Goodyear was the third fastest-growing place among all cities and towns in Arizona of any size from 1990 and 2000. , a city in the greater Phoenix area.
