), the world's largest bookseller, announced it has signed a lease agreement to open a new Barnes & Noble bookstore in Brighton, Michigan Brighton is a city in Livingston County, the fastest growing county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 6,701. The city is part of the South Lyon-Howell-Brighton Urban Area, which had a population of 106,139 according to the 2000 census. . The store, expected to open in fall 2006, will be located in the Green Oak Village Place at State Route 23 and Lee Road. The store will stock close to 200,000 book, music, DVD DVD: see digital versatile disc.

RedDotNet enables customers to listen to any CD in the store, sampling up to 200,000 music titles by simply passing it under a scanner.
