Barnardos deserve all our support.

BARNARDOS has warned it will be forced to cut vital help for kids if it doesn't receive more funding.

The charity has launched a major appeal for support to prevent the closure of services for vulnerable children in the country's most deprived areas.

The cases highlighted in the Irish Daily Mirror today are heart-breaking yet inspiring.

They detail the terrible neglect that many children suffer at the hands of the very people who should love and cherish them.

Some have been abandoned by drug addict Any individual who habitually uses any narcotic drug so as to endanger the public morals, health, safety, or welfare, or who is so drawn to the use of such narcotic drugs as to have lost the power of self-control with reference to his or her drug use.  parents while others suffer terrible behavioural Adj. 1. behavioural - of or relating to behavior; "behavioral sciences"

But thanks to Barnardos, these children are pulled back from the brink Back from the Brink can refer to:

and given the chance to dream of a better future.

Unfortunately, none of us can choose what kind of parents we are born to or what kind of start we get in life.

But by donating to Barnardos, we can help vulnerable children whose lives would be a very dark place without the intervention of this charity.

We understand that every family is feeling the pinch at the moment because of the recession.

Times are tough for everyone but if we don't help our most vulnerable children, then what kind of country will we become?
