Barium (Strontium) Carbonate Project Completed in TCIGC.

After a 72-hour test, the 10 000 t/a barium (strontium) carbonate project in Anhui Tongling Chemical Industrial Group Corporation has recently passed the acceptance organized by the provincial economic and trade commission.

The carbonization of carbon dioxide from the ammonia production with barium (strontium) slurry of a certain concentration was a technical bottleneck in the past. After three years' efforts, Tongling Chemical Industrial Group Corporation has developed a new process of carbonization and a new technology for continuous production. Tests made by Shanghai Silicate Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences prove that all the product indexes have reached the national standard for superior quality products.
