His spankin' new economical Ferrari 360 Modena proves that he really means it when he preaches about fuel efficiency, avoiding the white-glove style and retaining the feel of the street.

"Spike Jonze's genius is that he plays with your emotions." So says the journal Advertising Age in describing Spike's latest piece of ad art. The award garnering Ikea television commercial depicts a table lamp that has feelings. Not since 1997's Mouse has Spike's humor been more raunchy.

Steve Olson drifted up to Oregon to celebrate his big birthday number 42 with pals. Curiously, Independent squad leader Joey "The Joe" Tershay was hanging at the festivities.
