Bargains to be found.Byline: By STEVE HUGHES SINCE the peculiarlynamed Kia procee'd went on sale last year, the cost has dropped. A few months ago, the 1.6-litre turbodiesel model with top-level grade 3 trim had a list price of pounds 14,395. That's fallen to pounds 14,066. Kia was one of the few companies to post improved sales in 2008, but they plunged in December as the UK market struggled. It means dealers will be more inclined to haggle right now and as much as pounds 1,000 can be knocked off the list price. It competes in the compact class against rivals such as the Ford Focus, Honda Civic The Honda Civic is a compact car manufactured by Honda. It was introduced in July 1972 as a two-door coupe, followed by a three-door hatchback version that September. In the case of the Kia there is a top speed of 117mph, a 0-60mph acceleration time of 11.4 seconds, economy of 59mpg and a CO2 rating of 126g/km.
