Aviation industry leader in avionics repair looks to Intentia's

enterprise collaboration solution to integrate information flow and

streamline business processes, ramp up productivity, growth and

customer service.

Intentia International AB (publ) (XSSE: INT B) today announced that Barfield Inc. has licensed and will implement Movex MRO (Version 12), Intentia's next-generation, vertical-industry collaboration solution for maintenance, repair and overhaul service providers.

Headquartered in Miami, Florida, with facilities in Arizona, Barfield is a subsidiary of Sogerma Services, an EADS company. EADS (European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company) is Europe's largest aerospace company.

Barfield's implementation of Movex MRO's financial, manufacturing, purchasing, distribution and customer support applications will commence immediately and is expected to take just under a year. The enterprise system will run on an IBM iSeries Server and, when fully implemented using Intentia's Implex methodology, will serve 120 to 150 users.

According to Jim Annesser, Barfield's senior VP of Purchasing, the company sought to replace its legacy mainframe system and disparate PC-based applications with a fully integrated enterprise solution that would support its rapid growth initiative. "This is an important step in shaping Barfield's future," states Annesser. "Movex will improve our efficiency, accuracy, visibility and flow of information between departments. In doing so, it will give us the tools we need to grow faster and better serve the needs of our customers."

Annesser notes that Movex was selected based on business process requirements set forth by key employees from every department.
