J. Lynne Winemaker, Jennifer Lynne Wall, worked closely with the Cameron Ranch Vineyard Manager, David Cornelssen, to ensure the grapes were of the highest quality to produce this Ultra Premium wine. "We have rich soils and the perfect climate to grow Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes," commented Cornelssen.

Fermentation is achieved by somewhat different chemical sequences in different species of organisms. ," Wall noted. "The Pinot Noir grapes were gently de-stemmed before going direct to press. We allowed the grapes to cold-soak for 48 hours prior to starting the red fermentation process."

The J. Lynne Chardonnay was pre-released in order to qualify for the Sonoma County Harvest Fair 2003, where it was awarded a Silver Medal in the $20.00 and over category. The Silver medal was the best medal awarded to any 2002 Russian River Chardonnay in this category.

The J. Lynne Pinot Noir has also received some rave reviews right out of the gates. Renay Satero, wine buyer for Oliver's fine markets in Sonoma County, recommends this "find" to all of her key clients: "In the mouth it's smooth strawberry and vanilla cream, a touch of spice with undertones of bright cherry."

For its initial debut, J. Lynne produced only 315 cases of the J. Lynne Chardonnay and 192 cases of the J. Lynne Pinot Noir. These wines are extremely limited in quantity and will be available through the wine club and will be released to Barefoot's network of distributors on a first come first served basis.
