Barded.

SIR: As a graduate of Bard College and an intern architect, I was delighted to read your article on the new Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts The Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College is a performance hall located in New York's Hudson Valley. The center provides audiences with performances and programs in orchestral, chamber, and jazz music and theater, dance, and opera by American and  at my alma-mater by Gehry Partners (AR July).

Two things I would like to note in the article. First, and perhaps most important: you misspelled President Botstein's first name. It is Leon Botstein; not Leo Botstein as written on the first page of the article.

Second, and less important: no mention was made in the article of the nineteenth-century gothic manor house (serving as a dormitory) that is next door to the Fisher Center. Although if memory serves it is separated by trees from the new Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. , it is still there.

In any case, thank you again for the article.

Yours etc
