Bard completes acquisition of St. Jude Medical's Cardiac Assist Division.

) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of St. Jude Medical's Cardiac Assist division which it previously announced on December 12, 1995. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The Cardiac Assist division's products, which are manufactured in Chelmsford, MA, will be sold through Bard's Vascular Systems division headquartered in Haverhill, MA.
