Barclays Global Investors Announces Delay of Ex-dividend Dates of Some iShares Funds Due to the Closing of U.S. Exchanges.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 2001

Due to the closing of the U.S. exchanges, Barclays Global Investors Barclays Global Investors is a subsidiary of British-based Barclays Bank which is in the investment management industry. It is the largest corporate money manager in the world, with over £936 billion (US$1.77 trillion) under management as of March 2006[1].  (BGI) announced today that the ex-dividend dates of some iShares Funds will be reported late. The iShares Dow Jones and Russell funds series, which were scheduled to go ex-dividend on Friday, September 14, will now go ex-dividend on Monday, October 1, 2001.
