Starting on August 19, 2006 and continuing through the season's conclusion in May 2007, Fox Soccer Channel will televise more than 150 EPL matches, including a premier weekly match-up at 11:00 a.m. ET on Sundays, previously only available through pay-per-view. Select EPL coverage will also be provided in Spanish by sister network Fox Sports en Espanol. The new season will kick off on Fox Soccer Channel with three matches airing on Saturday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. (all times Eastern), as well as an 11:00 a.m. match on Sunday, August 20 featuring two-time defending champion Chelsea and Manchester City.
