Barcelona hosts masterbatch 2009.

Masterbatch 2009, the international meeting for the masterbatch industry, organized by Applied Market Information Ltd., will be held June 30 to July 2 at the Hesperia Tower Hotel in Barcelona, Spain.

This year's program is focusing on the trends and developments in the packaging sector which will help drive the masterbatch industry going forward.

Leading pigment pigment, substance that imparts color to other materials. In paint, the pigment is a powdered substance which, when mixed in the liquid vehicle, imparts color to a painted surface.  producers will look at how companies can be ready to take advantage of new color trends and effects for brand packaging, while equipment suppliers will consider how companies can optimize performance and cut costs. End users will inform participants of their needs and how they can be met.

This year's conference will present the results of a survey on customer perceptions of the masterbatch industry, which will provide insights into how a business can stay ahead of the game.

Key papers will examine the latest developments in pigments and additives, developments in technology to improve productivity and flexibility, and market trends and developments.

On Wednesday, July l, a market overview on, "The global polymer market market growth and implications for masterbatch producers," will be presented by Andrew Reynolds Andrew Reynolds(born June 6, 1978 in Lakeland, Florida, U.S.), is a professional skateboarder who has been riding since the age of nine.
